Bill Van Law

Bill is the CEO and Founder of the WVL Group, a firm dedicated to helping firms refine business strategy, accelerate growth, and improve margins. The firm partners with senior leadership teams to drive strategic change, succession, and business turnarounds for small, mid-sized, and Fortune 500 diversified financial services companies. An industry thought leader, Bill is a frequent speaker at industry events including the Barrons Advisor Summits, Tiburon CEO Summit, and others. He has also been featured and quoted in leading industry publications, including Financial Planning, Investment News, Wealth Management, and numerous others.

Prior to launching the WVL Group, Bill served as President of the Raymond James Investment Advisors Division. Prior to assuming this role, Bill spent five years as National Director of Business Development for Raymond James Financial Services. He was also a member of the Board of Directors for RJFS. Before that, Bill spent four years with Raymond James & Associates where he was Director of the Mid States Division and a member of the Executive Council for RJA. Bill also served as Executive Director of the Advisor Select Division from its inception until January 2006.

Bill spent eighteen years at Merrill, serving in a variety of roles during his tenure. He began his career as a Financial Advisor in Jacksonville Beach, FL.

Bill graduated Cum Laude with a BBA in Management from the University of North Florida. He also earned his Certificate in Management Information Systems from UNF. In 1990 he earned his Certified Financial Planner, designation and also served on the Adjunct Faculty for the College of Financial Planning and taught the CFP program.

Lou Camacho

Lou Camacho is the President of Stratos Wealth Enterprises. In his role, Lou plays a vital role in driving the firms operational scale, efficiency and strategic growth plan, which includes affiliated advisors and the organization’s acquisition strategy.

He has more than 20 years of experience in financial services, including the practice management of investment advisory firms, family offices and broker dealers.

Lou previously served as Vice President at Fidelity Investments’ Clearing & Custody Services business unit, where he was responsible for the custody, clearing and consulting practices of Fidelity’s largest RIA’s throughout the Midwest. Prior to Fidelity, he held positions at Charles Schwab & Co and Morgan Stanley.
